Help get Irving out of detention!
I first met Irving in April 2016 after his partner, Luis Manuel, reached out to Mariposas Sin Fronteras for support. Irving had been detained and taken to Eloy Detention Center in November of 2015. Luis Manuel had also been detained about 2 years ago and now his partner is going through a similar situation.
Irving and Luis Manuel have been together for 6 years. Part of this time they both suffered discrimination and homophobia while they were in Mexico, which caused them both physical and emotional trauma. For these reasons, Irving and Luis Manuel fled Mexico together and are now fighting their asylum cases in the US.
Irving has been detained in Eloy Detention Center for a year and a month and after a long fight has finally received a bond of $20,000. His family and partner, Luis Manuel, have saved as much as possible for this moment, but are still $5,000 short.

Ayuda a sacar Irving de la detencion!
Yo conoci a Irving en Abril del 2016 despues que su pareja, Luis Manuel, vino a Mariposas Sin Fronteras buscando apoyo. Irving fue detenido y llevado al centro de detencion en Eloy en Noviembre del 2015. Luis Manuel tambien fue detenido en Eloy hace 2 años y ahora su pareja esta en una situacion similar.
Irving y Luis Manuel han estado juntos por 6 años. Parte de ese tiempo ellos sufrieron bastaste discriminación y homofobia en Mexico que causo trastorno físico y emocional. Por estas razones Irving y Luis Maniel se fueron de Mexico y ahora estan luchando por sus casos de asilo aqui en los Estados Unidos.
Irving ha estado detenido en el centro de detencion en Eloy por un año y un mes y despues de una lucha larga por fin ha recibido una fianza de $20,000. Su familia y pareja, Luis Manuel, han ahorrado el mas dinero posible para este momento pero todavia les falta $5,000.
